"I started working with Kim on recommendation from my trainer because I was experiencing sharp lower back pain which was preventing me from proper form when doing squats and dead-lifts - I could not keep a flat back at all.

"I always considered myself fairly inflexible, so yoga was rather daunting for me. However, after training with Kim, she showed me that I was in fact very flexible and I could complete many yoga positions that I would have previously thought impossible. "Some thoughts about yoga and Kim: I have been attending Kim's classes for about six months. Several people had recommended yoga to me, but I was reluctant. From my first class, Kim made me feel comfortable and at ease with her patience and expertise in teaching yoga. Yoga has become my favorite workout, and is a perfect compliment to running, boxing and weights, each of which I do several times a week. My flexibility, balance, and posture have noticeably improved as a result of yoga. I don't believe that I will ever achieve the positions that Kim is able to, which never cease to amaze me, but I am steadily improving with each class. I have received valuable answers to any questions asked of Kim, She has been extremely helpful regarding workout related ailments. She intuitively knows what the problem is with just a quick look. My experience with working with Kim has been awakening for me. I am a sufferer of migraine headaches and my migraines were so frequent and severe that I would be completely incapacitated for 72 hours and it has been an endless cycle of painkillers that did not help. I stopped drinking caffeine, alcohol; anything I had read that might trigger my migraines. None of this helped so it made me worry and eventually resigned myself to the fact that migraines will always be a part of my life. Then, I started to work with Kim and in the middle of my session I have noticed that the pain became further and further apart until there was no pain. I have always been a skeptic about certain uses of practices but Kim has changed my mind tremendously. I was amazed by this experience I've learned there could be a happy balance between the energy that's needed to be released within myself. I would recommend Kim to anyone from a first-timer or to a dedicated yogi. She has the perfect balance of teaching style and meditation as well as the physical endurance and she helps you in such a relaxing and therapeutic manner. Her style and her beliefs can help you change your body and change your life. Thank you Kim!
